About Me
My name is Mabasa Ntwanano Pardon and I grew up in Malamulele, Limpopo. After I completed my matric at Jilongo High School in 2014 I moved to Pretoria to further my studies in Software Development. I then completed my qualification and graduated with a National diploma in Software Development

Work Experience
*As a Volunteer Backend Developer for a period of 6 months at ICEP located at TUT, I was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems to support. My primary duties included creating RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems and implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using [e.g., JWT, OAuth]. I worked extensively with MySQL to design and optimize database schemas, write complex queries, and ensure efficient data retrieval. Additionally, I contributed to debugging and troubleshooting backend issues, enhancing system reliability and performance. Leveraging tools like [specific tools, e.g. Git, Postman], I supported deployment processes and ensured smooth integration of new features into existing systems. Through this role, I gained hands-on experience with backend technologies and collaborated with a team of developers to deliver high-quality solutions that improved system functionality and user experienceI chose to study IT software development because I have always been fascinated by technology and its ability to solve real-world problems. From a young age, I enjoyed exploring how things worked, especially computers and software, which sparked my curiosity about programming. Software development offers a unique combination of creativity and logic, allowing me to design innovative solutions while tackling challenging problems. Additionally, I was drawn to the impact technology has on every industry, knowing that my skills could contribute to meaningful advancements in various fields. Studying software development felt like the perfect way to align my passion for technology with a career that continuously evolves and offers opportunities to learn and grow.

Why Diploma in IT
I chose to study IT software development because I have always been fascinated by technology and its ability to solve real-world problems. From a young age, I enjoyed exploring how things worked, especially computers and software, which sparked my curiosity about programming. Software development offers a unique combination of creativity and logic, allowing me to design innovative solutions while tackling challenging problems. Additionally, I was drawn to the impact technology has on every industry, knowing that my skills could contribute to meaningful advancements in various fields. Internship
I learned about GWConnect through word of mouth and subsequently submitted my CV on their website. Shortly after, SoluGrowth reached out to me and arranged an interview, which led to my appointment as an Intern Developer.

Company
I am thoroughly enjoying my current role, as it provides me with opportunities to deepen my understanding of programming while exploring new technologies daily.
