My name is Boitumelo Mashigo, I currently reside in Pretoria Atteridgeville. I matriculated in 2015 at Lotus Gardens Secondary School and I then enrolled at Tshwane South TVET College in 2019 and studied Office Administration Level 2 until Level 4 which I completed in 2021. I further went on to study Management Assistant N6 which I completed in December 2023.
Work Experience
*During my studies i worked at a Call Center called Finwell Legal Services in Brooklyn which deals with selling insurance policies. I also worked as a Facilitator at Warthog Inn Adventure Center. I feel lucky and blessed that I did not wait that long to get an internship as I completed my studies in December 2023.
Why N6 Management Assistant
After completing Office Administration Level 4 I was advised to study Nated Management Assistant and I saw that it was almost similar to Office Administration as the focus was more on computers and working with people. I love working and engaging with people and I feel like it is something that I am good at.
Internship
I got the internship opportunity through a student that was studying the same course that I did and she told me how to apply and how I will get help from GW Connect. They helped me get through every single thing that was needed from me and what I had to do going forward.
Company
I work for Alisom Communications which is a telecommunications company which is situated in Centurion. is a franchise of Vodacom and they have different stores all over the province. It is a recognised company and the employees and the employers are friendly and willing to help where they can if I do not know anything. It is a nice working environment.
