My name is Goodness Bathabile Mokoneni I finished grade 12 in 2019. I had a hard time getting accepted in universities and I did not want to go to college I got good marks in grade 12 so I had to go to varsity. I stayed at home for 2 years.2022 September I came to Germiston for a job interview I did not get the job and my cousin did not want me to go back home so I stayed and learnt that there is a college nearby it's a Tvet college and NSFAS can pay the school fees, I applied and I was happy to see that there is a course in finance because I love finance so I applied for financial management.

Why N6 Financial Management
I studied financial management because I love finance, I love working with number. I studied financial management because I saw that you can become a bookkeeper if you have a diploma in financial management and I want to be a bookkeeper.
Internship
I finished my N6 June 2023 and in October 2023 I got a call from my college telling me that they got my details from Ekurhuleni West College( the college I went to) they asked for my email and sent me a link to update my details and upload my documents I was excited. I waited from October 2023 kept on applying for every post I saw went for interviews and got nothing until 13 March 2024 I got an email inviting me to an interview on the 14th( the following day) I was in Mpumalanga but I did not want to miss out on this opportunity I had been waiting for my college to respond for a long time and they finally did. I took a bus at 3 am on the 14th from Mpumalanga to Pretoria and a taxi from Pretoria to Eastgate.
Company
I started at McCarthy Toyota Bruma in April 2024 I was very unhappy at first because they had placed me at the reception and as an antisocial person that was difficult for me but over time I got used to it and I learnt a lot from being at the reception because you get to interact with all the departments at the dealership by the time they moved me to another department I knew a few things about that department and it made things easier. The working environment it is fine I feel like it's like every other work place it has its bad days,good day and days where you just want to pack up your things and leave but overall it's great the colleagues are nice and we get along well.
