I'm Elizabeth Mantshei Mothapo, and I reside in Hammanskraal Temba. I completed my matric in 2021 at Madisong Secondary School. Six months later, I furthered my studies at Tshwane North TVET College, where I studied Financial Management and completed my N6 in December 2023.
Work Experience
* Early 2024 I was employed as a Finance Intern at WG House for an 18-month contract which I'm still working on. So far I have gained a lot of practical experience like capturing invoices and reconciling accounts payable. And I am looking forward to learning more.
Why N6 Financial Management
I chose to study Financial Management because it provides a solid foundation for a wide range of career opportunities. Finance is an integral part of every business, and I wanted to ensure that my career path would offer long-term growth and stability. Financial management offers that in abundance, and I saw it as an opportunity to be part of an industry that plays such a crucial role in both business success and global economies.
Internship
One of my college lecturers informed us about WG House and gave us the email address where we can send out our qualifications. I had a friend who worked at WG House who also advised me to create a profile with GW Connect before I sent my documents. After 2 weeks of applying, I received an email that I was invited for an interview. I went for an interview and a day later I got an internship. All thanks to GW Connect.
Company

The company prioritizes creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where employees feel valued and supported. There is a strong emphasis on work-life balance, with flexible hours and a culture that encourages taking breaks to recharge, ensuring employees don't burn out. Overall, I’m very excited to be part of WG House because I believe in its mission and value its commitment to growth and development. It has provided me with the opportunity to learn a great deal and contribute meaningfully to its success, and I’m eager to continue building on that experience.
