My name is Mphodi Pretty Matlou, I am 25 years of age. I was born and raised at Limpopo Moletjie Kgabo Park. I started my primary at Kgabo Park Primary School and went to Kabela Secondary School where I obtained my matric certificate in 2018. I then furthered my studies at Tshwane South Tvet College Centurion Campus in 2019, and obtained my N6 certificate in 2021. I was very good in Computer Practice and communication. I am a hard worker, passionate , consistent and disciplined. I am calm, friendly and I have a welcoming approach. I am punctual, dependable, reliable, helpful and self-motivated.
Work Experience
*My first work was at NWJ at Fourways Mall in April 2022 for about a year, this was after i completed my N6 certificate at the College. I was a sales consultant. I learned product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, communication, visual merchandising, inventory management, time management, negotiation, attention to detail and also team work. Then my second job was at Liberty as Marketing Assistant for about 8 months. What I learned at that time was time management and organization, problem solving and critical thinking. Assisted in creating a successful marketing campaign, resulting in 25% increase in sales.
Why N6 Management Assistant
Initially, I had my heart set on studying Supply Chain Management but unfortunately, I didn't meet the qualification requirements. Although disappointed, I didn't let it deter me. I explored alternative options and discovered Management Assistant as my second choice. At first,I was uncertain about this new path, but as I delved into the course, I discovered a fascination with the world of administration and management. The program's comprehensive curriculum, covering administrative support, organization management and communication resonated with me. What began as a second choice became an unexpected passion. I found myself thoroughly enjoying the Management Assistant course and excelling in it. The experience taught me that sometimes life detours lead to unexpected opportunities and growth.
Internship
It was around August 2023 when I was looking for internship opportunities on the internet and I came across My College on Facebook. I followed the profile creation steps and uploaded the required document. I was then contacted by INTELLETO during the end of October and told that my profile was chosen and I attended an online interview before the face to face interview. I was overjoyed and gave my absolute best. I made sure to research about that company that chose my profile as a sign of gratitude.
Company
It was around February 2024, and my contract where I was working was coming to an end, so I was still looking for Internships. I was contacted by Intelleto, saying I have been invited for an interview to one of the biggest company at Centurion Called THE SUCCESS ACADEMY.
