I am mahlatse marota,I grew up in Jane furse then I moved to Alexandra when I was 15 years old. I matriculated at Minerva high school in 2020.i furthered My studies at Tshwane south tvet college where i studied financial management and completed My N6 2023 june.
Work Experience
*Afternoon completing my N6 i did not have a luck in finding a job until i applied at Gw Connect.
Why N6 Financial Management
I chose to do financial management ,because there were not more options when I was applying at college.i thought I would not make it because in high school I did science stream,my application was approved because of my math's results and I was happy and I did work hard ,.I did well and I obtained distinction during My N5.
Am happy with accounting and I want to see my self as a financial manager in the next coming years.
Internship
I tried to apply for an internship in many companies for 6 months,I did not get any luck.i used to receive links from my friends and one of my friends forwarded me the GW link and I applied they first called me in December unfortunately I was at limpopo so I couldn't come to gauteng and the interview was a short notice. I thought they will never get back to me and they did.i attended my interview in February 5 it was Monday and Wednesday i received that my interview was successful.i was happy ,Gw changed my life ,I now see a great future ahead of me.Thanks to GWConnect and their team.
Company
I am working at Doppio Zero Head Office as an intern,i started working on the 14 February 2024.my journey at Doppio Zero has been wonderful. I am in accounts Department. The staff is very helpful and willing to assist when i need assistance. I am looking forward to my 18 months internship and gain experience and learn more .
