My name is Shanty Meta Kgoedi , aged 23 years. I come from Limpopo province , a town called Burgersfort. I completed matric in 2019 with a diploma pass. In 2022 January i registered at Tshwane North TVET College for Financial Management . I completed N4-N6 from 2022-2023 July and passed all my modules.
Work Experience
*In 2024 May in volunteered to work at Mecklenburg hospital as i wanted to do something to gain experience . I worked as an Administrator for 3 months and also in Registry for 2 months. I wad dealing with patients files and employees files.
Why N6 Financial Management
I chose to do Financial Management because i believe that am good with accounting. I became to realize my understanding of accounting in Grade 10. For me it was the best choice for myself , to choose the course that i enjoy and want to understand better. I realized that dealing with finance comes with a lot of responsibility , accuracy and competency. My choice was based on personal learning and academic expand.
Internship
After completing N6 and getting the results, i submitted my documents to TNC head office for internship purpose. I applied for many posts with no luck. I then revamped my resume and came a post about GW Connect i immediately registered and completed my profile for up to 75%. I was invited to the first interview which i could not attend based in Midrand . The second interview i attended and received a feedback after 4 days and i did fingerprints and signed the contact.GW Connect makes it easy for us ,by connecting us to relevant companies.
Company
Am currently working at Alley Roads company based at Woodmead Office Park. They company Is in Construction Industry. They have commercial and residential properties. It is the best working environment at it is professional and it allows me to learn and contribute. The respect and understanding of diversity makes it a professional working space. The training of my practical is worthy it , as it is a step towards my Diploma.
