My name is Thuli Dhlamini born and bread at Ivory Park extension 6 . With passion for commerce/Accounting i studied Financial Management at Tshwane North TVET College , which i finished in 2023 . Me worried about getting an internship in 2024 , i juggled through various companies working from one place to the other while applying for every Finance internship posted on socials
Work Experience
*I worked as a sales consultant at Elevate Debts Solutions for three months , i resigned . i stayed home unemployed for three months constantly applying hoping i get an internship.
I then worked for two months at Letsatsi Finance & loans Insurance , wherein i was working as a sales consulted yet we were getting paid by SETA &NSF from Clean Heat Academy . But the problem was the job was draining as it was hard making sales and its not my passion and it seemed the company was using our qualification to get us funding thats going to pay us for doing our inservice , but as i worked i wasnt doing anything Finance related , a lot of the students i came with complained and didnt like the fact that they didnt tell us the full truth
Why N6 Financial Management
Thing is i'm very fond of accounting , something that challenge me , i've liked accounting from hight school , even thought at times it used to frustrate me , i studied and as time went on i gained full understanding i soo love accounting . Having to solve problem that's an everyday thing .. and very broad field as you know every company consist of Finance department , as its a field filled with diverse opportunities and a dynamic work environment .
Internship
I remember it was on 18 May 2024 i received a call , mind you i was at the taxi the lady explained she was calling from Mycollege and interviewed me , as hard as i was with the noise in the taxi i couldn't bring myself to drop the call , i didn't wanna lose the opportunity. She asked for my documents , i dont want to lie i gained full faith that i'll soon probably get an INSERVICE training . At that time i dint know about mycollege , but my friend knowing it she explained to me about it , i did my research i saw the success stories , i very satisfied bout the stories of students explaining their journey i had hope .no lies.
Late July i received a call from a lady who's from mycollege she enquire about where i work and am i interested in a Finance Inservice , God answered my prayers! i had a long lovely conversation with the lady .. i explained my entire situation to her . A week after i was called for documents submission then went to an interview at Westcon throuhout my interview they helped me , checked up on me made sure i was okey and arrived safely .I like how mycollege takes care of their interns irregardless . luckily i got the opportunity ,
Company
I like how mycollege takes care of their interns irregardless . luckily i got the opportunity , i started the following month 5th August 2024.The place , the people , the environment very very wonderful , They are good people they took me serious even though as young and less qualified , they have great relationship between each other . Getting a finance internship really means a lot to me , i'd forever be grateful to my college for getting me such a comprehensive and vibrant opportunity.
