For instance, I worked at Builders Warehouse as a Administration clerk, where I was responsible for Ordering stock. Why Diploma in Finance/Commerce
I chose to study Finance because I have always been fascinated by working with numbers. My academic journey allowed me to explore various topics, and I was particularly drawn to work at any Finance related Field that deepened my understanding and passion for the field.
Internship
I secured my internship through university resources. I actively sought opportunities that aligned with my career goals and reached out to professionals in the industry. After being recommended and going through the interview process, I was thrilled to be offered a position at United National Breweries as a Finance Intern, where I could apply my skills and gain practical experience.
Company
Currently, I am still working at UNB, which is known for producing traditional beers. My role as a Finance Intern involves working at Creditors, Debtors and Procurement Departments as they are exploring us to learn more about the companies operations. The company culture is to brew the joy of true togetherness to inspire a better world. Our purpose is woven into the very fabric of our being.
