*Before embarking on this internship journey, I had the opportunity to gain experience in various roles that built my skills and shaped my perspective. I worked as a Sales Rep at Vaal Triangle Computers , where I honed my customer service, communication & leadership skills. Additionally, my role at VUT SRC allowed me to collaborate with cross-functional teams, which gave me an understanding of teamwork and problem-solving in real-world scenarios.
Why Degree in Business Management
I pursued Retail Business Management & then upgraded to study Business Management because I have always been fascinated by the intricacies of decision-making, strategies behind market leadership, & the impact of efficient management on organizational success. During my studies, I realized that a strong foundation in business principles would enable me to navigate complex challenges and create value in any industry I chose to work in.
Internship
Securing my internship was a result of both persistence and preparation. I actively engaged in networking events and career fairs organized by my university and reached out to professionals in my field through LinkedIn. After applying to multiple positions, I was thrilled to receive an offer from GWConnect. Currently, I am interning at Sandton Plant Hire, a multinational corporation, that specializes in the supply and operational management of various earthmoving, constraction, mining and quarrying plant equipment.The company is known for being one of the leading plant hire companies in South Africa. With strong committed management members.
