About Me
My name is Busisiwe Mery Mawelele, I’m currently residing at Mayfield (Daveyton) in the Gauteng province. I completed my matric in 2013 at Hulwazi Secondary School. I decided to take a gap year after completing my matric and worked for one and a half year then decide to further my studies. In January 2016 I enrolled for Marketing Management at Ekurhuleni East Tvet College (Benoni Campus) and completed my N6 in June 2017

Work Experience
*After deciding to take a gap year I got bored and started selling Avon, Justin and Tupperware products. Late in 2014 I then got a job at Spar as a cashier my manager was impressed by the way I treat customers he then moved me to Tops. I then decided to quit the job to further my studies.

Why Marketing Management N6
While selling my Avon, Justine and Tupperware products I got used to the idea of being a sales person I then wanted more than just to sell. The passion I developed while working at Spar made me realise that I have good communicating skills and I am able to interact with people and that’s what drove me to choose Marketing Management it is a very interesting and challenging department which gives you an opportunity to grow in the business world.

Internship
After finishing my N6 in Marketing Management a good friend of mine by the name of Thandeka Masango who is currently an intern at Murray and Roberts advised me to register myself at a website called GWConnect. Two weeks after registering on the website I received a call from Outex inviting me for an interview. The next day after the interview I received a call again from Outex informing me that I got the internship.

Company
I am currently an intern at Unitrans-Lexus and the 18 months internship will help me complete my Diploma in Marketing Management. I work in a friendly environment with an awesome team and a caring supervisor. I have now found a second family and enjoy coming to work every day. I am looking forward to learn a lot , all thanks to Outex who made it all possible for me, if it was’nt for them Unitrans would have not recognised me.
