My name is Mohau Marakalala I’m 22 years old, from Mpumalanga at Zakheni. I matriculated in 2014 at Zakheni high school. There after I studied financial management at Ekurhuleni West College in Kempton campus from 2015 to 2016 June.

Why Financial Management N6
Like most people I studied financial management because I love working with figures and I was good with figures but most of all accounting is my passion and I love it.
Internship
My uncle Mathew Marakalala told me that GWConnect is looking for candidates who completed financial management N6, after I have received my results in July I register with GWConnect, they called me within a month, then I receive an email inviting me for interview at Sandton Plant Hire which I failed the interview and after few days Outex called me about another interview at Steinhoff Africa which I passed. Now I’m appointed as an intern at Steinhoff Africa in Internal Audit department.
Company
I’m place at Steinhoff as one of the Financial Management Interns. Steinhoff is a German International retail company that is based in South Africa. Working at Steinhoff has been a wonderful experience for me. The people there are willing to teach and help in acquiring the required skills in Financial Management. I am gaining a lot of experience with Steinhoff and still learning a lot as I venture more into my Internship.
