My name is Khoza Given, and I am based in Pretoria. I'm a proud BCom In business
management graduate from the University of Venda, class of 2023. Currently, I am
pursuing my BCom Honours with the University of South Africa, nearing completion.
Beyond my academic achievements, I am a committed, ambitious, and goal-oriented
individual dedicated to achieving excellence in my endeavours.
Work Experience
*I don’t retain any past professional work experience, except that I was a bookkeeper
for local registered Car wash (Excellent Carwash) during my gap year from Jun 2019
to Jan 2020 where I resign as I had enrolled for a degree.
Why BCom In business Management
I chose to study Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management because the
qualification offers many benefits, including different career paths in management,
consulting, finance, marketing, and more. I believe that this this degree is useful in
many areas and enables graduates to use their skills in various industries and fields.
It also helps build important skills like leadership, solving problems, and strategic
decisions. I believe that with good experience and dedication, one can advance to
top leadership positions, where they make strategic decisions that help the
organization grow, succeed and expand, which can lead to business growth, create
more jobs, and help lower unemployment rates, ultimately helping the economy grow
and develop.
Internship
I got an internship at Remote metering solution Pty Ltd as an Expense Management
YES Learner on February this year (2025) when GWConnect came to the secure
after a year of actively participating in jobs applications where I was satisfying my
target of at least Three (3) applications daily with no luck. The process was seamless
and progressive, I received a call from them to confirm an Online interview date and
availability after I had sent my application through PNET, the interview was
successful and proceeded to an in-person interview with the host employer which
was also a success and led to a 12-month internship offer.
Company
I find Remote Metering Solutions Pty Ltd to be a great professional work experience
provider. The company supports professional learning and has a good work
environment. The company culture is collaborative, innovative, and results-driven,
which motivates me to grow and contribute. There is very exceptional teamwork,
support, and effective problem-solving spirit. I enjoy working with talented and
dedicated team that is eager perform at its optimal level, deliver results to achieve
organisational goals and objectives. Through this experience, I have gained valuable
skills, enhanced my problem-solving abilities, improved my communication skills,
and developed strong professional relationships.
