My name is Paulina Selala, and I recently graduated with a Diploma in Computer Science. I'm passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems, especially in the area of data and user experience. I have a background in front-end development and a growing interest in data integration and analysis.
Work Experience
*I previously worked as a Front-End Developer Service Trainer at ICEP in Pretoria. In that role, I helped train individuals on web development basics and also contributed to building user-friendly interfaces. It was a great opportunity to develop both my technical and communication skills.
Why Diploma in IT
I chose to study Computer Science because I’ve always been curious about how technology works, and I wanted to be part of the data-driven future. I’m especially interested in how data can be used to inform decisions and create smarter systems. Computer Science gave me the foundation I needed to explore both programming and data.
Internship
I got my internship through MyCollege, which connected me with the opportunity. They were incredibly supportive, and I’m grateful for the chance to apply what I’ve learned in a real-world environment.
Company
I’m currently working at YoungBlood Consultants, and it’s been an amazing experience. The team there really treats us like family — they genuinely care about our growth and development. I’ve been learning so much, not just technically, but also professionally, and I’m very thankful for the supportive environment they’ve created.
