My name is Palesa Prudence
Tapeane , I’m 27 years of age ,
I'm originally from Sebokeng then moved to Klerksdorp but I resides in Kempton Park. I matriculated at Damelin College in 2009 than did Management Course Level 2-4 and then in 2013 I studied Management Assistant from N4 to N6 at Sedibeng TVET college in Vanderbijlpark campus.
Work Experience
*In 2014 I worked as a junior administrator at a non-organization where I learned the importance of carrying yourself in the workplace and learning the fundamentals of a good administrator.
Why Management Assistant N6
The reason why I chose to study management Assistant is I always love meeting new people and helping people, so this course allowed me to be myself in the workplace to interact with internal and external stakeholders. It’s also allows a person to fit in, in every department which increases once knowledge and to always think out of the box when being assigned with a task
Internship
When I got this internship, I had given up because I always prayed and asked God to help me get an internship until I saw a post on Facebook about GWCONNECT seeking N6 graduates, so I decided to register and upload all my qualifications, and CV. I didn't think it was going to work because of so much fraud going around. one day I received a call from Jessica Mashaba at Gwconnect to prepare me for an interview and I did my research with her help and after few days I went for an interview, a week later I got a call saying I got the internship, I was so excited I couldn’t believe it.
Company
Stefanutti Stocks is one of the biggest construction companies in SA and it is just amazing to be a part of their team, I had to work in their procurement department most of the time but that didn’t stop me from gaining knowledge and experience from other departments on how they do things.
I’m really grateful to God, GWConnect and Stefanutti Stocks for giving me this opportunity to prove myself am truly blessed
