My name is Bongi Mnisi. I was born and raised in a small township in Mpumalanga. I completed my primary and secondary education there before moving to Gauteng to pursue a Diploma in Accountancy at the University of Johannesburg.
Work Experience
*After completing my tertiary education, I struggled to find formal employment in my career field. I then worked as an education assistant at a local school before securing my current internship in my chosen field.
Why Financial Management
I choose to pursue a qualification in Accounting because of my strong analytical skills and genuine interest in working with numbers. I have always been drawn to the structure and precision involved in financial management and reporting. My passion for accounting field continued to grow as I gain more understanding on its role in supporting business decision-making and ensuring financial integrity. I am committed to building a career in this sector and continuously developing my skills and expertise.
Internship
I got my internship though myCollege, I applied through them and they found at internship for me under gw connect. The contract was four months but then I got lucky because they managed to secure funding for me for 12months.
Company
I am working under the Spar Group pty Ltd, which is a warehousing and distribution business listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).
