Throughout my academic and professional journey, I've demonstrated a strong work ethic and a keen desire to learn and grow. Work Experience
*As an internal audit intern, I worked on a project that involved tracking and accounting for the funds disbursed by the Department of Employment and Labour to organisations for UIF during the COVID-19 pandemic. This experience provided valuable insights into the importance of financial management and the impact of government initiatives on the economy.
Why Bachelor of commerce
I developed a strong interest in economics during high school, which led me to pursue a BCom in Economics and Management. As I progressed through my studies, I discovered a particular inclination towards financial management, which prompted me to pursue a BCom Honours in Financial Management.
Internship
I was fortunate to be discovered by TalentSA, a talent scouting and acquisition organisation, which presented my CV and a short interview to the organisation I now work for. They were impressed with my skills and experience, and I was subsequently offered the finance internship.
Company
I'm currently working in a supportive and collaborative environment that has provided me with invaluable experience and opportunities for growth. The finance team is knowledgeable and approachable, and I've been able to develop my skills and confidence in a relatively short period. The organisation's flexible work culture has also allowed me to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
As I reflect on my journey, I'm proud of the progress I've made and the experiences I've had. From my internal audit internship to my current role as Finance Intern, I've been driven by a passion for finance.
