My name is Tebogo. I was born is Gauteng. My family and I lived in Alexandra during my younger years till we then moved to a nearby area called Lombardy East when I was about 6 years old. I have been living there ever since. I enjoyed y playing football during my downtime, it helps with having the right balance of health, fun and work.
Work Experience
*I have never formally been employed before the internship.What I would do to improve my finances is to tutor whenever I would get the opportunity to. I enjoy Maths so that is the subject I am most fond of tutoring and I still tutor till this day.
Why Degree in Finance/Commerce
The reason why I chose my field of study is in the name of said field, finance. I wanted to to study something that was lucrative and that would be tailored to my strengths and weaknesses. I would like to think I am analytical and get a joy from working with numbers so I tried to combine that with my pursuit of financial stability. Throughout the journey I have learnt a lot more than just about finances. I have learnt communication skills and how important working with other people is.
Internship
My CV was in the database of the company from previous applications I presume. In the span of about 8 days I had a couple of in person interviews. I did not receive a reply from one of them, the other decided to move on with other candidates and the other two offered me the post. I was delighted and decided to go with the offer from the company I work for jow as I think it aligned with what I wanted to do.
Company
I work for Verimark PTY. It is a very innovative company that was formed in the 80s. We sell cutting edge products to mainly the South African market but we do operate internationally as well. The culture is nice with people here strongly believing in helping one another and passing on knowledge.
