Work Experience
*I started working at Lesego Primary School in Ga-rankuwa as an educators assistant. I assisted the teacher with her daily duties, including marking, teaching, assessing, assisting
learners, preparing the classroom, making notes and carry out administrative duties.
Why Diploma in Finance/Commerce
I chose to further my studies to do an Advanced Diploma in Finance Management because I realized I was passionate about investing instead of specialising in economics. I love working with numbers, analyzing financial markets and making strategic decisions. By pursuing a career in finance, I have more specialized career path options which will strengthen my ability to analyze financial data, provide strategic insights, and guide organizations towards sustainable growth.
Internship
I applied through My College. Months later I got an interview invitation from GWConnect and was interviewed online. I was contacted to visit GWConnect offices to do a fingerprint clearance then I signed a fully funded internship contract. I have a great future ahead of me thanks to GWConnect and their team.
Company
I am an intern at one of the biggest Utility Management company’s in South Africa. It specialises in metering, billing and cost recovery. It is an end-to-end solutions streamline utility management for a worry-free future. It is a healthy and welcoming environment, the people are also friendly and helpful.
