My name is Ipeleng Basetsana Babedi. I am 23 years old. I am from Pretoria North from a township called Hammanskraal. I matriculated in 2020 at Pretoria Central High School, then studied Financial Management at Tshwane North TVET College from, 2021 June till 2022 December.
Work Experience
*Worked as a cashier/bartender/cook at a cinema store at Menlyn Park called Nu Metro, from June 2023 till I got the internship.
Why N6 Financial Management
I chose to study Financial Management due to my love of critical thinking. I enjoy problem solving and thinking outside of the box. I wish to further my studies, one never knows too much. It is a very diverse course and very broad. It has many opportunities and feeds my curiosity.
Internship
I applied to different companies for internships with no luck. I ended up even applying for any job, that is how I got the job at Nu Metro. Even when I was working I still applied for other jobs and an internship. A friend of mine who had already acquired the internship told me to apply. I applied late in 2024, got an email from GW Connect in a space of 5 months since my application. I did a virtual interview, passed and the rest is history. Today I am currently an intern at a renowned company in its field. All thanks to the help of GW Connect and would strongly encourage others to apply and entrust it in helping them secure success in their academic journey.
