My name is Tebogo Mothapo, and I am a driven and ambitious individual with a passion for finance and accounting. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, which I completed in November 2023.

In October 2020, I job-shadowed a Chartered Accountant at ITWeb, South Africa's leading technology media company, where I learned about financial statement preparation, audit procedures, and compliance with accounting standards.
Why Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
I chose to study accounting because of my fascination with numbers and my desire to understand the financial world. Throughout high school, I excelled in accounting and mathematics, which sparked my interest in pursuing a career in finance. I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of financial concepts and develop skills that would enable me to make a meaningful contribution to organizations.
Internship
I secured my internship at Akhile Management and Consulting through an agent who connected me with the company. I was thrilled to be selected as a finance intern, as it provided me with the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. Fortunately, we were able to secure a sponsor, which further supported my opportunity to work with Akhile. I'm grateful for the agent's role in facilitating my internship and the sponsor's support in making it possible.
