I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Venda, a Certificate in Personal Mastery from the National School of Government, and a Business Information System (BIS)-Computer Application Certificate from the University of Venda.
Work Experience
*I worked as a Student Teacher at Maligana Secondary School, where I assisted with lesson planning and delivery, taught under supervision, supported classroom management, graded assignments, prepared teaching materials, and participated in staff meetings and training sessions. I also worked as a Waste Campaigner with the DFFE - Collins Chabane Local Municipality, where I led public awareness campaigns on waste reduction, organized workshops and community clean-up drives, created outreach materials, engaged with residents, schools, and businesses, promoted recycling and composting, responded to public inquiries, coordinated with municipal partners, monitored campaign progress, and managed campaign budgets and timelines
Why Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
My attraction to working with numbers and my drive to comprehend the financial world led me to pursue a degree in accounting. I was interested in becoming a chartered accountant since I was a maths and accounting ace in high school. I desired to learn more about financial principles and develop my abilities so that I could contribute significantly to organisations.
Internship
I secured my internship at GENRIC Insurance Company through Inteleto who connected me with the company. I was introduced by a friend to send my resume to Inteleto. I was thrilled to be selected as a finance intern, as it provided me with the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. Fortunately, we were able to secure a sponsor, which further supported my opportunity to work with GENRIC. I'm grateful for the agent's role in facilitating my internship and the sponsor's support in making it possible.
