Work Experience
*My career began at World Sport Betting, where I worked as a betting clerk in 2021. This role taught me the importance of multitasking, as I was not only responsible for assisting customers with placing bets, but also for handling FICA registrations and helping customers open online accounts.
I consistently sought opportunities to learn and take on additional responsibilities, which helped me develop a strong customer service, communication, and administrative skills.
I chose to resign from this role to complete my Human Resources practical training, as it aligned with my long-term career goals.
Why N6 Human Resources Management
Studying HR was more than just a career choice, it was my way of equipping myself with the skills to help others find their place, grow in their work, and be treated with fairness and dignity.
In my first job at World Sport Betting , I discovered how much I enjoy interacting with customers, solving problems, and handling important processes like FICA registrations and account openings. That experience showed me the value of clear communication, attention to details, and building trust, all skills that are essential in HR.
Internship
I was referred by a friend since she knew I was struggling to find an internship, and a week later intelleto called me to find out if I was still available for an internship.
They then sent me a link to create a profile with them, after creating a profile I was called again after a month and I had to attend an interview, I attended few interviews with them.
I never gave up even when there where many reasons to and today I am finally an HR intern, what a journey.
Company
I am currently part of the Omega Risk Solutions team, one of the leading companies in the industry, and I’m truly grateful for this incredible opportunity. Working here has been a rewarding experience that has not only been enjoyable but has also helped me discover my true potential.
Today , I carry with me not just qualifications, but the lessons of resilience, self-belief, and perseverance.
My story is still being written, but every chapter reminds me that no dream is too far and no starting point is too small, for a determined heart.
