My name is Katlego Mopedi, I was born and raised in Parys; Free State. I matriculated at Parys High School in 2019, and got the opportunity to further my studies at North-West University were I graduated with a Bcom in Financial Accountancy Degree in 2025.

Why Degree in Finance/Commerce
Finance is a broad field to work in and my first realisation of how there’s more to money than just using it to buy things triggered curiosity about the depth of Finances. Growing up in a household were such an impactful topic was rarely talked about made it feel like an overlooked life skill, whether it be for personal finances or business, financial literacy for me is beneficial knowledge.

One of my professors provided us with possible applications to consider after graduating. The agency was one of my applications and presented me with an open internship at MidCity Property Group
