I secured my internship through dedication, continuous applications, and by tailoring my CV to highlight both my academic background and practical skills. I also made use of professional platforms and guidance from mentors who encouraged me to persist even when the process felt difficult.
Company
I am currently interning at Outex Chartered Accountants, where I am involved in the accounts payable process, bank reconciliations, and supporting the finance team. This opportunity is teaching me how to apply my theoretical knowledge to real-world situations, improve my technical skills with accounting software such as Xero, and gain confidence in a professional work environment.
