My name is Mthulisi Tumelo Sibiya, and I am a 21-year-old who has always believed in staying determined, even when the journey becomes difficult. My path has not been the easiest, but it has shaped me into the person I am today.
Work Experience
*For almost two years, I was actively searching for an internship. During that period, I also applied for various job opportunities to support myself. Eventually, I secured a job at Checkers, which helped me stay grounded and motivated while I continued my search for an internship in my field.
Why N6 Financial Management
I chose to study Financial Management because I have always been passionate about finance and enjoy solving financial problems. I knew that this career path would allow me to help businesses make smart financial decisions and grow.
Internship
My breakthrough came with the help of my college. They supported me every step of the way. They would call me before and after every interview to check on me and guide me. They also sent me possible interview questions and helped me prepare strong responses. Their support made a big difference, and eventually, it led to me securing an internship.
Company
I am now completing my internship at Alley Roads, a company that specialises in buying and constructing properties that are later rented out to the public. Working at Alley Roads has been an eye-opening experience. I am gaining valuable practical knowledge about property, finance, and business operations. The environment has helped me grow both professionally and personally.
My journey has taught me the importance of patience, perseverance, and believing in yourself even when opportunities seem far away. I hope my story inspires other students who may be struggling. Keep going—your breakthrough will come at the right time.
