My name is Simphiwe Chantell Langa and I grew up in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni. I completed my matric in 2014 at Willow Moore high school and further my studies at Ekurhuleni East TVET college from 2015-2016 where I did a course in Financial Management.
Work Experience
*In late 2016 I got a job as a cashier at Marko where my duty was to assist customers with paying for their purchases. I was later trained at the online department to pick and pack online orders that needed to be delivered or collected by customers.
Why Financial Management N6
I choose Financial management because finances a very broad industry that has a lot of opportunities that allow a person to grow in business. It is a very interesting course that is easy to understand, it helps individuals understand the financial industry and apply financial principals in their daily lives. I aspire to grow in the industry and become an accountant in future.
Internship
I saw a GW connect post on Facebook about internships for tvet college students. I started registering on their site and in June 2017 I was invited to my first interview at Outer. It did not go well, and I was later invited to another interview in August at Big save Distribution Centre where I started my internship.

Working at Big save DC is exciting because the people are friendly, we work together as a team with my colleagues and the challenges help me grow as an individual and learn to communicate an be responsible
