Why Diploma in Finance/Commerce
I have always had interest in Accounting studies since high school because of how it tells a story of a business .I chose I accounting because I wanted to help companies to finance their business and make them make better financial decisions.
Internship
I saw GWconnect on Pnet, then I send them my CV and documents. They helped me with internships application, I got called for an interview and I passed the interview. That's how I secured my internship through GWConnect.
Company
I'm working for Metronomic PTY (Ltd), as a Finance intern under the Finance Department working mostly in the Debtors and I also do some of creditors. Doing journals, banks, invoicing etc as a daily . Metronomic is a good company that interns are treated fairly and respected. The company gives a room to learn new skills, for example recently they added a short free course that everyone can choose to learn whether you are a permanent employee or an intern.
I'm excited about gaining more professional work experience to be able to work with big clients.
