My name is Makgapha Lehlojane, and I am writing to provide an update on my professional progress. As a Computer Science graduate from Hammanskraal, my passion for technology has always driven me to seek out opportunities where I can grow and contribute to the industry.
Work Experience
*I am pleased to share that I have completed two significant six-month internships. My first was a "Work Integrated Learning" module, and the second was a specialized learnership where I achieved my certification as an AWS Cloud Engineer and gained practical experience with the Netmarks IT Group.
Why Diploma in IT
From a young age, I have been captivated by the inner workings of technology. What began as tinkering with laptops and various electronic devices evolved into a deep fascination with the mechanics of hardware and software. This passion for troubleshooting and creative problem-solving naturally paved the way for my career in IT and Computer Science—a path I have embraced with enthusiasm and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Internship
I secured this opportunity through the My-College placement program after a recommendation from a peer.
Company
Currently, I am interning at Metronomic, a remote meter-measuring company. In my current role within Expense Management, I act as a liaison between building owners and the City of Tshwane Council. My responsibilities involve logging, tracking, and resolving utility and billing disputes to ensure seamless operations for our clients.
I am incredibly grateful for the support that has allowed me to pursue these milestones. Doing what I love for a living has been a long-held dream, and I am excited to continue building on this foundation
