My name is Hope Swanepoel. I'm a 24 year old born and raised in Soweto. I am a passionate, resilient and determined young woman who strongly believes in personal growth and creating a better future through hard work and education. Coming from Soweto has shaped my character in many ways, teaching me perseverance, adaptability and the importance of pushing forward despite challenges. I did my N6 in Financial Management at South West Gauteng College.

Why N6 Financial Management
When I first chose Financial Management, I believed accounting was mainly about numbers. However, as I progressed in my studies, I realized it is much more than that. It involves understanding how businesses make decisions, why those decisions are made, how financial choices impact both businesses and people. This deeper understanding drew me in and strengthened my passion for the field.
Internship
I obtained my internship opportunity through My-College after a friend referred me to the platform where I applied.
Company
I am currently working at Ithemba Property, a property company in Johannesburg. My main role is to help track, record and reconcile the company's money movement.
