I'm Sbongile Petunia Mcwadi. Born and raised in Katlehong and currently residing in Katlehong. I last attended school at Landulwazi Comprehensive High and matriculated in 2015. I then furthered my studies at Ekurhuleni West College, Germiston campus where I did Financial Management for 18months. Started N4 in January 2016 then finished my N6 in June 2017.
Work Experience
*Early 2018 I got a job at a call centre, NuDebt Management. There I was a call center agent and I worked there for 2 months.
Why Financial Management N6
I remember I was in grade 9, almost all my classmates wanted to see themselves in a science class. So I thought I should be different and go to an accounting class. As the years went by I noticed that with accounting it is not only about numbers, but I can also handle my finances than having someone else handling my money and not only mine but also help others with their finances
Internship
After finishing my N6, I left my CV at the college as instructed to. A few months after dropping my CV at school, I received an email from GWConnect where I created a profile online of which I did. After some months I received an interview invitation at PTA which was successful. Then after a few weeks, during February I received a call where I went to for another interview in JHB, Old Mutual. Which was also successful as well A few days after, I received a call that I got the internship. Start date was on the 1st March 2018.
Company
I work at Old Mutual as a Credit Controller. The workplace is great and everyone there is kind and friendly. The environment and the culture is pride and great. I'm very fortunate to be working for such a big company, if given an opportunity to work here permanently. I wouldn't hesitate.
