My name is Tlalane Mosidila, I'm 30 years old, I was born in Eastern cape in a very small town (Matatiele), but currently staying in Sunnyside Pretoria at the moment, I did grade 9 in 2006, from 2008-2012 I was not studying but working as a domestic worker (kitchens), I went back to school in 2013 to do my grade 10 at the age of 25 years at SIDINANE SINIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL in Xaxazana, yes it was not easy but I did and i matriculated in 2015 at the age of 27 years. I decided not to stay with my matric at home, I went to Tshwane North TVET college in Pretoria campus to Further my studies. I completed financial Management N6 in 2017.
Work Experience
*I was working as domestic worker for the period of 6 years from 2008 to 2012, i was working in kitchens that was before I can complete my matric.
Why Financial Management N6
Finance is a very broad industry and also one of the important skills in business world, i have seen many businesses shutting down operations due to financial crisis and mismanagement, this does not happen only in businesses but also in people, They fail to settle their debts and end-up being blacklisted. Another reason why i chose financial Management is because I like working with numbers i learn how to be responsible when dealing with money.
Internship
After completing my N6 Financial Management, i applied in several companies for internship but no luck, few weeks later I received a call from Outex, they said i should register with GWConnect and create my profile, i did not waste any time to create it, they said they got my details from the college where I studied, few days after creating my Profile they invited me for an interview at University of Pretoria and fortunate enough they replied same day that I have passed the interview and I should come sign the contract at their office in Brooklyn. I started working at UP on 3April 2018 as an intern.
Company
University of Pretoria is a leading research university in south Africa and one of the largest Universities in the country, I'm working in the Finance Division in Accounts Payables department, they gave me a very warm welcoming, they are friendly and so helpful, they are nice people.
