I’m 26 years old, born and bred in Vosloorus. I completed my Grade12 at Thuto Lesedi Secondary School one of the high performing schools in Vosloorus. In 2013 I enrolled at Ekurhuleni West College and studied Financial Management.
Work Experience
*After completing my matric I stayed at home for 2 years. In 2011 I worked at Census 2011 for 2 Months, it wasn’t an easy job but it was worth it I must say, I learned a lot, then I worked at a salon which was very fun and also a bit challenging because I got to meet woman with different emotions that’s not easy to deal with, I have learned a lot.
Why Financial Management N6
At first I wasn’t really sure what to do but I was interested in Hospitality. When I decided to go to college, I had a choice between Management Assistance, Human Resources Management and Financial Management
I was advised to do Financial Management because it is broad, there are lot of job opportunities and I decided to stick with it. I made a right choice no regrets.
Internship
When I completed my N6, I Stayed at home for 7 Months searching for an internship. I applied in several companies and recruitment agencies but nothing came up. A friend of mine I studied with at Ekurhuleni West College sent me a message stating that she is starting her internship on Monday. She gave me Outex email address, I immediately emailed and I got a reply from OUTEX advising me to register my profile with GWConnect and I did so, within a week I got a call inviting me for an interview at Torque-IT
Amazingly after an hour coming from an interview Prudence Mosane from Outex called me and said I got the Internship, funny thing is I was in a taxi when she called and I wanted to shout.
Company
I am doing my internship at Torque-IT and it offers training in Technology Skills and its one of the best in our Country
The environment there is very chilled, relaxed and clean. I had a worm welcome from staff members, my trainer Patricia we call her Sis Pat, she’s the best I must say, I wouldn’t have asked for anyone to train me and she is patient, I am learning a lot from her, in her hands I know my future is bright.
