I chose Financial Management because it will give me more knowledge in terms of using money be able to plan, organise, monitor, and control. We live in the World were saving is not taken into consideration, people get to spend a lot and not save with Financial Management it gives us a clear vision on how to manage our finances for a long period of time in terms of Investment.
Internship
I registered my profile with GWConnect where by they sent through our applications to different Companies, it took me a year to get myself an Internship but with GWconnect it took me 3 months I was called for an interview at University of Pretoria got accepted and now I am part of the University.
Company
I am an Intern at University of Pretoria working under the department of Asset Management, the experience so far is great I get to apply my knowledge from my studies, we manage assets bought by the University ensure that they are in right names and even in right locations.
