My name is Lebogang Matshaba, 25 years of age, born and bred in Marokolong, Hammanskraal. I completed my matric at Boitshepo Catholic School in 2012. I studied Human Resources Management at Tshwane North TVET college. I am an easy going, friendly and passionate young adult that strives to be the best at anything I do.
Work Experience
*I have worked as a temporary office assistant at SABCOHA, responsible for data capturing and frontline assistant. This has helped me in improving my computer skills and people’s skills.
Why Human Resource
I chose to study HRM because I love working with people from different walks of life, as it teaches me to be patient and embrace different cultures. I have always been impressed with how the Law works and wanted to have that in my line of work, and HR allows me to make sure Labour laws are adhered to in working organisations.
Internship
I registered my profile on GW Connect and a lady by the name of Gontse, called me to confirm if I was still on the market for an internship. I was then booked for my 1st interview at OUTEX, she prepared me and gave me a suitable time to attend the interview as I has personal matters to attend to. I got a second chance for another interview, but I could not attend. I was later called by Katlego to tell me I was successful in my interview.
Company
I am now an HR Assistant at OUTEX, and it is a family-oriented company. The working environment is busy and tends to get hectic, but I could not have asked for anything better, I am learning a lot, I have a great support system from my colleagues and the management. I am thankful for this opportunity as it is taking my career to new and exciting heights
