My name is Derrick Cossa I’m 22 years old and from Mpumalanga(Inkomazi) at Mangweni. I matriculated in 2012 at Inkomazi high school, there after I studied Financial Management at Ekurhuleni West College (Kempton Campus) from, 2014 to June 2015.

*From November 2015 to March 2016 I worked at Nandos in Kempton Park as a back griller.

The reason why I have chosen to study financial management, is because I like working with numbers and it teaches me to be responsible when working with money.
Internship
I applied to many companies for an internship but unfortunately I couldn’t get one. A friend of mine encouraged me to register on GWConnect’s website. Surprisingly in six months’ time, GWConnect contacted me to inform me about an interview opportunity. I went for an interview and passed I was so excited and can say that I believe that GWConnect does work. Thanks to GWConnect I’m currently an intern at a very respectable company. I would most definitely recommend GWConnect to anyone and truly beleive that they will also be successful in finding an internship.
Company
It’s a team work- oriented environment and they allow me to learn, grow and contribute within the company. I’m happy because I do exactly what I have studied and I believe that this internship will help me to become more employable.
