About Me
I am 34 years old born, bred and matriculated in 2004 at Free state in a very small town called Frankfort. I moved to Boksburg in Gauteng to follow my dreams. It was never easy as I thought it will be. I worked from a retailer to another until I realized that I need more than just feeding myself and my beloved ones. I decided to enroll for HR Management course with Ekurhuleni West College in Germiston Campus in 2013, I then stopped due to financial struggles. In 2017 I then resumed my studies part time while working for a retailer, I then succeeded and graduated for my N6 Certificate in HR Management.

Work Experience
*I started working in retail from 2006, just a year after my matric. I worked for Ellerines Furnitures as a sales advisor, then moved to Vilqua cash loans and Furnishers a year after. I moved to Edcon at Jet stores as a service center operator and worked for Ghecko stock tacking company at night on Wednesdays and Fridays. Two years later I worked for Checkers Hyper as a Money Market Clerk, my long-term goal at checkers was to be a department manager.

Why Human Resource
My ambition has always been to help other people, that itself incited me to study HR with an idea of helping employees when it comes to exercising their rights and assisting individuals to get jobs. However, I fell more in love with HR when started studying. I realized that there’s more entailed to it compared to my passion. I am a very outspoken individual, this quality plays a big role in my HR career. I’m more confident than before. I am willing to further my studies in this field after finishing my training.

Internship
I heard about GW Connect from a friend of which was my college mate and I registered on the site. A month after I was invited by the friendly consultants from OUTEX for an interview for Spar Southrand Distribution Centre and my interview succeeded, was appointed as an HR and Payroll Intern

Company
I am working for Spar Distribution Centre in Jet Park. So far it has been an exciting venture, a beginning of y ideal career. I have learnt and absorbed a lot. What fascinates me most about this organization is that I feel like I’m fully part of the family. I have very friendly, helpful and accommodative colleagues and management team. Everyone contributes in my growth as an individual and to molding me to be an excellent asset in future. Currently my initial long-term goal has changed to be a future Training and Development Officer after my internship duration. I have secured an award as the best employee of the month for October. I consider this as a motivation to give and do more.
