My name is Fortune Mahlatsi Moshidi, I grew up in Tsakane (Brakpan), I completed my matric in 2017 at Dalpark Secondary School. To futher my studies I decided to enrol at EWC Kempton Park Campus, to study Management Assistant which I started in 2018 January and completed in June 2019
Work Experience
*During the time I was doing my matric I was working part time at Makro Store by carnival, I used to work every weekends and even when there is a public holiday and even on school holidays. I started to work there February 2017 and left January 2018 so that I can be able to continue with my studies without any disturbance from work.
Why Management Assistant
At first I was intrested in studying Transport and logistics, but then on the day of registration at the college when i went to register the head of Transport and Logistic. Teacher said that I had passed my matric well that i would be wasting my time doing the subject then she adviced me to try something in the business courses, because it would suit me and i wont waste 3 years in college just to obtain a simple NCV Certificate, I can actually get a diploma in one of the business courses.
Internship
The same teacher who had adviced me to choose the course actually became my mentor and when I completed my N6, she was impressed with my marks and she promised by all means that she will try her best to help me find and internship and then she told me to register with GWConnect and she helped me with sending my documents and scanning them and helped me to email them to other different agencies.
Company
I was placed at Toyota Rivonia and I was placed under the company as a place where by i can learn how to grow in the motor industry. I see it as a blessing that i was placed at this institute because I'm a person who loves cars and i can see myself growing and its all thanks to GWConnect and Outex , just to name a few.
