I am Phumzile Mankge. I was born and raised in Mamelodi. I matriculated in 2015 at Stanza Bopape Secondary School. After I passed my matric I decided to further my studies at Tshwane North College and study Financial Management.

Why Financial management
.Financial Management needs an honest person, a hard worker, a team player and a person who is able to work with numbers. And I am that person. My sister encouraged me to do accounting in high school and that made me realize that there are many opportunities in Financial Management. That’s why I choose Financial Management.
Internship
After completing my N6 I took my CV to school. After some time I received a call from OUTEX saying that they got my particulars from school and I should create a profile on GWConnect and I did that. After some time I received a call for an interview. I went few interviews and the successful one was at University of Pretoria.
Company
I now work at University of Pretoria which is one of Africa’s top universities and the largest contact university in South Africa. Everyone here is welcoming, friendly and respectful. It is a great experience for me to be working at UP because I learn new things every day. Everyone here is willing to help. And I am looking forward to learning new more things.
