My name is Puseletso Aphiri, I am 23 years old and reside in Pretoria at Soshanguve Block bb. I completed my matric in 2015 at Amogelang Secondary School. I then furthered my studies at the Tshwane North TVET College doing Financial Management in 2016.
Work Experience
*I worked at the Department of Education as an Examination Assist from June – August. I was doing data capturing and filing.
Why Financial Management
Financial Management was the only option I had looking at all the courses offered at TNC. Considering the fact that it was in line with Accountancy of which I preferred, I fortunately became more interested in it and I saw that it’s broad and highly demanded by all the companies.
Internship
I got a call from a person who works at Outex, who said they got my contacts from my school. He send me a link to create my profile. A month later I was called for an interview at Outex and after they said they will call me for results but I was never called. After a few months I was called again for an interview at the University of Pretoria and was successful.
Company
I am working at the University of Pretoria as an accounts payable intern. UP is one of the biggest Universities in South Africa therefore the experience that I acquire is the best and it gives me good reference.
