My name is Busisiwe Mtshelwane, I'm 28 years old born and raised in Pretoria in Soshanguve. I matriculated in 2008 then went on to study Economic Management Analysis at Tshwane University of Technology but due to the lack of funds and information I was unable to finish my studies. I later enrolled at Tshwane North TVET College where I studied financial management and obtained my N6 in 2018.

Why Financial management
I fell in love with accounting while I was in high school, I just loved the thrill that comes with working with numbers and trying to balance the figures. It also teaches the very important skills of managing money and financial responsibility.
Internship
After completing my N6 I received a call from OUTEX, they told me to register on GW-CONNECT and upload my documents. They then call me for an interview and later called back to congratulate and inform me that the interview was successful.
Company
I'm doing my internship at the UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA, a leading research University and one of the largest Universities in the country. I work in the finance division in the payroll department. The people I work with are warm, welcoming and always willing to share their knowledge which makes this environment great for learning and growing as an individual.
