My name is Helldah Dimakatso Pale and currently reside in Tembisa. I matriculated in 2010 at Matanta Secondary School in Sterkwater. I went to Ekurhuleni West TVET College to further my studies and I completed my N6 Management Assistant certificate in 2018.
Work Experience
*In 2018 I worked at Ekurhuleni West TVET College (Kempton Park) as an invigilator, P4 Recruitment (Midrand) as data capture, my duties were to capture information in database of the company. This year I worked at Babina Tlou Trading and Operations as a frontline operator, my duties were to transfer calls, filling and taking messages.
Why Management Assistant
It wasn’t my choice to study this course, I just studied because I didn’t want to stay home doing nothing as I wanted to study so badly. It was an opportunity needed to be grabbed as many pupil’s after matriculating don’t get space at colleges and universities. So, as I was studying, I enjoyed studying this course as the road of success is not easy way of which it has the potholes also uneven. It wasn’t easy because I had 2 kids, I must feed also have to get a taxi or train to college. The most module I loved on this course was computer practice.
Internship
I did a search on internet looking for an internship, then I registered with GWConnect on internet it was December 2018 after our exams. In January they phoned asking if I’m still looking for an internship then they sent me a link to upload my documents.
Company
The team motivates, supporting, very welcoming and am willingly engaged to grow within the company. I’m glad because I do what I studied all thanks to GWConnect for the opportunity they granted me and their team.
