My name is Tebokgo Mabotja. I was born and raised in Tembisa the township that is situated in the East rand, Gauteng. I matriculated in 2013, at Ingqayizivele Secondary School. After a few years I completed my matric, I decided to enrol with Tshwane North College (Pretoria Campus) for a Financial Management course.

Why Financial management
I chose Financial Management, because finance has always been part of my life growing up, I didn't see myself doing anything else outside the financial space. Growing up in the township I saw small businesses with a potential to grow fail, because they lacked a financial knowledge, so that made it hard for them to handle their cashflow. In simple words I want to be the solution to people financial distress.
Internship
I heard about the GW Connect from a lady who used to work at our school and i decided to register my profile with it. After a few weeks I got a call from one of their staff members telling me that I have an interview. They helped me in preparing for an interview and I truly appreciate the opportunity they gave me.
Company
I am doing my internship at Westcon Group,it provides information technology services. The working environment is very relaxed and chilled, I had a warm welcome from the people I am working with. Through this journey I am hoping to learn as much as I could and have fun.
