My name is Jimmy Maelula. I grew up in Venda, Limpopo. After my matric at Sinthumule high school, I went to Tshwane North College to Study Financial Management, for which I did 2years from intro N4 to N6.
Work Experience
*After N6 I worked at KFC Mamelodi branch (Denlyn) for a month as a scooter driver. I was also receiving stock and assisting with other general duties.
Why Financial management
It happened that I chose the stream of commerce at grade 10 which consisted accounting and started getting more interested in accounting and decided to go further with it.
Internship
I just got a call surprisingly from Outex and asked me if I wanted an internship, and I was not trusting them a bit but took a chance with them, registered on GW-connect, submitted my cv and within 3 days I was called for an interview and I was appointed as a finance intern at Jollify Trading Pty(Ltd).
Company
I am working at Jollify trading as a finance intern. The environment is amazing, getting exposed to different departments within the accounting field and I am treated more like a permanent employee (Exciting).
