My name is Tshepo Madumetja Seema, I currently reside in Pretoria CBD but originally from Limpopo, Polokwane. In 2014 I matriculated from Northern Academy Secondary School in 2016 I then went to North West University studying Bachelor of Science in Information Technology until 2019.
Work Experience
*After completing my degree, I Managed to get an internship with Intelleto after 3 months of job searching since December 2019. I am currently a Junior Software Developer and I occasionally help with reporting and support.
Why Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
IT is a very broad industry that is constantly evolving to help automate human behaviour. There is always a constant gap to fill in the industry and the ability to be creative as well as potentially start a business through my ideas is what drew me to the industry. I draw inspiration from the likes Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg as they managed to create a problem-solving tool yet also being able to build a business model through it. IT is for people who want to solve problems because they are creative and adventurous.
Internship
I was on Pnet when I saw the vacancy for an IT graduate, and I applied. They called me and they set up an interview in January, funny thing is they only got back to me about a month and a half later. I was called in then the rest is history.
Company
Intelleto Pty Ltd is great environment to learn they gave me some valuable Programming Courses they are proving to be vital to my growth in the industry. It is a healthy and welcoming environment to work at, the people are also friendly and helpful.
