About Me
I am writing this with so much honour, joy, pride and gratitude because opportunities are not easily found. I was born & bred in Pretoria, 28 October 1993, matriculated in 2011 at Pretoria secondary and being a curious person made Computer applications technology my favourite subject. After high school I could not further my studies as I come from a disadvantaged background so I had to go straight to looking for a job, eventually in 2017 I got an opportunity to register myself in a college after many attempts. I am a very dedicated, responsible, open minded and passionate person who puts 101% in everything I do.

Work Experience
*My first job was at Wimpy, where I was a chef. During my time there, I learnt that we eat first with eyes so presentation is important. I then worked at a nightclub as a cashier for about 2 years. During this time I learnt POS Systems, responsibility, making choices and the importance of carrying yourself with dignity. My third job was at a Hotel, temporarily for 6 months as a waitress, then at a Golf course for almost a year as a waitress too. Then I found a restaurant/pub that was just about to open. I held a management position and I absolutely loved everything about this job. It came with a lot of challenges, I had to apply personal strategies in running an entire establishment. I discovered my leadership skills.

Why Financial Management
Financial management was my first choice, but I found it phased out at Tshwane south college Odi campus. Management Assistant was then presented to me, I learned to love and excel in it because I believed that it wouldn’t be offered if it was useless. I created a relationship with lecturers because I had pressure from the job and course, they believed that I could excel in both so how could I have not. It is an amazing broad profession that’s needed in every company and is of great importance.

Internship
It was around September 2019 when I was looking for jobs and internships on the internet and I came across My College, I followed the profile creation steps and uploaded the required documents. I was then contacted by Outex during the end of February and told that my profile was chosen by a company and im invited to an interview. I was overjoyed and gave my absolute best. I made sure to research about the company that chose my profile as a sign of gratitude.

Working here is fruitful and of importance, the company’s value system is “to bring praise to our Creator in everything we do” and the sole mission is “to create an environment where people can reach their full potential”. The role im given as a Business Centre receptionist has responsibilities that help further my understanding of things, develop my skills, capabilities, self-confidence and utilize my inner strategist, this matches my energy and personality. I am blessed and more than grateful.
