My name is Ramogohlo Beverley Ramokone and I grew up in Suurman , Hammanskraal. I completed
my matric in 2015 at Makgetse high school and further my studies at Tshwane North TVET College
from 2016-2018 where I did a course in Financial Management.
Work Experience
*In 2019 I got a job as a Peer educator at MULTI SECTORAL AIDS MANAGEMENT RESPONSE UNIT
(MSAMU) in City Tshwane where my duty was doing door to door to teach or share of health
information, values and behavior in educating others. Early 2020 I worked as Youth Brigade at Tane
Primary School for COVID-19 Program where we were screening learners.
Why Financial Management N6
I choose Financial management because finances a very broad industry that has a lot of
opportunities that allow a person to grow in business. It is a very interesting course that is easy to
understand, it helps individuals understand the financial industry and apply financial principals in
their daily lives. I aspire to grow in the industry and become an accountant in future.
Internship
I saw a GW connect post on Facebook about internships for Tvet college students. I started
registering on their site and in 2019, I was invited to my first interview at University of Pretoria. It did
not go well, and I was later invited to another interview in February at Toyota where I supposed to
do my internship but with the pandemic of COVID -19 there was lockdown. Finally I got my
internship at Big Save Distribution Centre.
Company
Working at Big save DC is exciting because the people are friendly, we work together as a team with
my colleagues and the challenges help me grow as an individual and learn to communicate an be
responsible.
