My name is Lebohang Phora from Katlehong. After I obtained my matric certificate in 2011 I decided to take a gap year because I wanted to take a small break from everything.
I obtained my Financial Management N6 at EWC Germiston Campus in 2015
Work Experience
*In 2012 I worked as Promoter for Eyes and Ears promoting alcohol beverages thereafter worked at Rage Distribution in Alberton, New Redruth in 2013 as a sales person.
I eventually decided to further my studies seeing that working in retail was not working out for me and I realized that I can do more with my knowledge and skills and couldn’t let that go to waste.
Why Financial Management N6
I had always been good in commercial subjects since high school so therefore I took initiative to challenge my knowledge and interests in studying finance and fortunately so I enjoyed it very much.
Internship
A friend of mine from school sent me a link of GWConnect and told me to register my profile and an outsourcing company will contact me and OUTEX contacted me telling me about a job interview at PG Bison at Boksburg, I went for the interview in October and was successful. And that is where I am obtaining my 18 months’ experience.
Company
PG Bison is an industrial and logistics company based in Boksburg. They manufacture furniture material for companies and homes and thereafter transport it.
I’m a Financial Assistant in the Supawood Department working under Procurement manager and Financial Managers of the company.
