My name is Tshepang ,I am 22 years of age ,I stay in Katlehong the eastrand of Johannesburg. I am a very bubbly and outgoing person. I believe in working hard to reach desired goals and I am a very easy person to work with. I appreciate good criticism as I believe one can learn from it .I am one of the fortunate students whom Outex got an internship for.
Work Experience
*I worked at Cash Crusaders as a sales person and I was also assisting in the office with some finance paperwork.
Why Financial Management N6
I chose financial management because of my love for accounting. When I got to college I was clueless on which course to study but then I saw financial management ,what made me interested in it is that it had accounting and my strength was in accounting back in high school, so I told myself id give it a try and to my surprise I enjoyed the course and I decided that finance is the career path I wanna pursue as I believe it will lead to my success.
Internship
After I completed my N6 I kept applying for an internship but there was no luck. After months of hard luck I got a call from Outex, they explained to me about their company, what they do and how they got ahold of me. they asked me to complete a Gwconnect profile and that they will forward it to their clients. Few months later they called and asked if I was still looking for an internship and I agreed. They told me I had an interview at ITHEMBA properties ,I went and it was unsuccessful. Few days later they told me I had another interview at BOBCAT EQUIPMENT and I also went but then there was no response a few days later, I even told myself it was also unsuccessful. A week later I got a call from Outex saying I passed the interview, I got the internship and I have to start immediately. I am very thankful to Outex for granting me this opportunity as I believe it is a huge stepping stone towards my career path.
Company
I am now an intern at BOBCAT EQUIPMENT SOUTH AFRICA. It is a company that deals with earthmoving equipment. It works with industries such as construction, rental, landscaping, agriculture, ground maintenance, government, utility, industrial and mining. The working environment there is very warm and welcoming and I am really learning a lot.
