My name is Lydia, I am 27 years old. I currently reside in Hammanskraal at Mandela Village. I was born and raised there. I matriculated at Boitshepo Catholic school in 2007. In 2013 i decided to go and further my studies at Tshwane North TVET College where i completed my N4,N5 and N6 in Human Resources Management. I am a young Adult who is very passionate and eager to learn new challenges.
Work Experience
*2009 I volunteered for confederation cup as an information services and I also volunteered for 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP as an acreditator. In 2011 I got a part time job at pro-act ventures as a facilitator. In 2012 I was employed by Didimala Game Lodge as a waitress and within 6 months because of my hard work and the willingness to go extra mile to satisfy a customer I was promoted to work as a receptionist.

I choose Human Resources Management because I love working with people and following all the procedures. While I was studying, I enjoyed Personnel Management and Labour Relations because they go hand in hand! Employment Equity

Internship
Shaine send me a link to register my CV with GWConnect and that I should make sure my profile is 100% active. And he assured me that in two weeks I will get a call. And I waited for months until I decide to ask him how long does it take for me to be contacted. He asked me to do follow ups on my internship application and I did. I send them an email and the following day on the 31st of October a lady called Granny phoned me saying they going to help me get an internship and during November I received a call from Prudence saying there’s an open position for HR , the following day she phoned me inviting me to an interview and on the 24th of November I went for my interview and the same day I got a call saying I was successful.
Company
I am now an HR intern at Intelleto and its a family oriented company and the environment is very friendly. And I am also learning a lot from my supervisor (Yolandie) and other HR interns.
